Misunderstood Music Video
Hello there!
The Sublets are creating a music video for our new song, Misunderstood. Throughout the video we will feature clips of people holding up signs with #Misunderstood.
We are requesting the following:
- A 45 – 60 second video with you (the actor) holding up a sign approximately 4 inches by 11 inches in size… Or larger.
- Written on the sign should be: #Misunderstood
- The sign can be pretty, creative, colorful, or plain, but it needs to be legible.
- Your facial expression should be however you interpret the word “misunderstood.” Since you have 45 – 60 seconds, please give us some different looks and interpretations.
- Please make the entirety of the shot including your wardrobe, background, and any other elements included in the video purposeful.
- Below is an example video showing highlights of the people who have created clips so far.
- No logos/advertisements in the video itself.
- The video must be recorded in full HD (1080) or 4K.
- The video must be recorded in landscape/horizontal mode, not vertical mode.
- Audio is not necessary.
- Deadline for video submission is Thursday, August 18th , 2022 at 11:59 PM.
We may end up using the best 5 – 10 seconds of your video in the music video compilation. We might also utilize part of the video or a still of the video on social media. While all videos will be considered for inclusion, not all videos will be used.

To send the video file at full resolution, please upload your video to one of the following, all of which have free account options: Dropbox, Google Drive, or through www.wetransfer.com and share it with info@thesubletsmusic.com. Do not share the video directly via e-mail.
